We love YOU, our teachers and administration, just as much as our students! We want to make each year a successful one for all. Please reach out to us with any questions or feedback, or come and join us at a meeting!
Teacher Requests
Each year we set aside funds for your requested items that are not in the school budget. Things that can make your classroom and learning environment more successful for your students.
Some examples of items we have approved:
🐾 Picnic tables and mulch for the pod-classroom section
🐾 Beach carts to help move lunchboxes to the cafeteria
🐾 Flexible seating
🐾 Podiums, tables, and easier seating for Joe's English
🐾 Adaptable recorders
To place a request:
Please download and fill out the Teacher's Request for PTA Funds Form, or request a copy from the office.
Submit your request to the principal for pre-approved. Pre-approval is needed to ensure items are not eligible for school budget funding.
Once approved, drop in the PTA mailbox in the teachers room.
We collect requests before each monthly meeting, and will vote on your request during the meeting.
If approved, purchase the item, and submit to us for reimbursement. If you cannot hold personal funds for the purchase, please let the PTA know and we will work with you to complete the purchase.
Curriculum Enrichment
Helping organize activities that align with your curriculum is our passion! We have specific CE volunteers working with each grade to make sure you and your students have a great year. Please reach out to us with your requests (preferably early in the school year) so we can help in a timely manner. Please email requests to our CE mailbox at nbcsptace@gmail.com, and our Coordinators will work with you on activities and dates.
Please keep in mind:
Busses: the school offers one paid for bus field trip per grade per year.
The PTA is no longer able to fund busses. Parents will need to contribute the difference as needed.
Dates: In our efforts to ensure all grades get a couple activities, PLEASE get your dates or ideas to us as early as possible!
